About the Role

As a 3D Front End Engineer at Neo Cybernetica, you will own front end development. You’ll be building internal UIs and designing novel interactions that will allow the trainable simulation team to experiment and analyze results 10x faster.

You will be working as a part of a highly-technical AI team with world-class researchers to advance the state of the art through highly utilitarian UIs.

About You

You are a proactive engineer with a strong sense of ownership, are confident conveying topics through simple sketches, and comfortable white-boarding and brainstorming to the bottom of things.

Responsibilities

• Front end development and building UIs for AI model performance review and data labeling.
• Work closely with AI researchers to go over prototypes.
• Exploring new technologies that will benefit our workflow and sharing comprehensive opinions on architectural/technical decisions.
• Working with the team lead through mocks and sketches.

Your Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of development experience with a focus on frontend engineering and non-trivial interfaces involving, but not limited to 3D visualization and video data.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular or React).
• Confidence with 3D geometry.
• Proven track record of identifying problems, proposing and selecting solutions, and executing them to increase efficiency.
• Proficient at collaborating, communicating, and driving change.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft.

What Will Make You Standout

• Experience with a modern game engine (i.e. Unity or Blender)
• Experience with Typescript
• Open-source software development, contribution, maintenance.
• Interest in, or experience with, design processes.
