We are seeking an individual with a foundation in device physics and an interest in IC design to join our Mixed-Signal design team. As a member of the team, you will focus on measuring and understanding semiconductor device behavior with the goal of developing compact device models for use in integrated circuit design and simulation.
Essential Duties:
Measure and characterize semiconductor devices and test structures
Collect and analyze measurement data
Work closely with IC design engineers who use the compact models and associated documentation that you generate
Required Skills:
Experience with data analysis techniques Familiarity with the Cadence Virtuoso environment
Experience developing custom code for measurement automation, data processing, and analysis
Desired Skills:
Semiconductor device physics and fabrication technologies
Basic fundamentals of circuit design
Parameter extraction and associated measurement techniques is a plus DC and RF measurement de-embedding techniques is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Proficiency in use of computers, engineering work stations, oral and written communication and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces and have both visual and hearing acuity.
Required Education:
BS, MS or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related scientific discipline.
Special Requirements:
U.S. citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active SSBI is a plus.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $87,000 - $145,000 + bonus + benefits.
