Responsibilities Include:

  • System level engineering of loudspeakers to meet design and performance targets including:
    • Transducer, amplifier and DSP specification
    • Enclosure volume and tuning specification
  • Audio Systems include (but not limited to):
    • Sound Bars
    • TV audio systems
    • Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers
    • Headphones and Earphones
    • Phone, Tablet and Laptop audio systems
  • Build prototype loudspeaker systems
  • Tune engineering prototypes by adjusting DSP as the result of objective and subjective measurements
  • Perform linear and non-linear acoustic measurements on transducers and systems
  • Analyze, disassemble and reassemble competitive products
  • Preparing documentation, reports, and presentations
  • Working with research and product development teams in the US and Korea

Requirements:

  • Education – BSEE, MSEE preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 2+ years of product development experience
  • Experience with Audio Precision
  • Experience with an acoustic measurement system (i.e.: Smaart, CLIO, Sound Check…)
  • Experience with acoustic measurements, loudspeakers and room correction
  • Strong documentation skills. Must be able to analyze test results and report to management
  • A musician and/or passionate about music and movies would be a plus
  • Bilingual English & Korean preferred

Our total rewards programs are designed to motivate and engage exceptional talent. The base pay range for roles at this level is $113,400 and $155,850 but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Within the base pay range, individual rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education and training. This is part of our comprehensive compensation package with annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits to help you live life well.
