TEAM
Arene Autonomy service, cloud data management team is on a mission to build a cost-effective platform to quickly ingest and store data for machine learning initiatives.
As a  software engineer in the cloud data management team of Arene Autonomy service, you will work closely with cross teams to build excellent data solutions for ADAS related initiatives. For example, Arene AI teams to build end to end machine learning tooling experience,  the Arene Reactor team to provide cloud-based virtual simulation experience and so on. The solutions are not only for Woven by Toyota but throughout the Toyota Group and its vendors.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for candidates who are willing to work with a team and passionate about building a data platform to support workloads of Arene Autonomy services and enable cutting-edge solutions for machine learning model development lifecycle as well as advanced cloud native virtual simulation environment.

    • Design, build and maintain large scale data ingestion, processing and publishing pipelines
    • Work with machine learning and software engineers to move and enrich data
    • Work with customers to build frontend/backend solutions to meet the data requirements
    • Work with various stakeholders to deliver on the roadmap
    • Participate in on-call routine
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
    • Strong experience in distributed data storage technologies and solutions
    • Strong experience with cloud-based microservice architecture, event-driven, distributed  architectures
    • Strong experience in data pipelines technologies such as workflow engines
    • Understanding of Experience with Python, Golang or related programing languages
    • Knowledges of best practices for data privacy, scalability, reliability and security
    • Excellent communication skills and teamwork spirit
    • Experience with kubernetes in production and container technologies
    • Production system management, monitoring and analysis
    • Understanding of DevOps(On-call) and DataOps best practices
