Who you are:
You're self-motivated and self-directed, passionate about detailed record-keeping and maintaining scalable processes and systems to ensure customers' success. You solve problems and identify opportunities as an advocate both for the customer and the product. You’re a natural customer advocate who can listen, learn and define customer needs with our software solutions. Your goal is to support client engagements with training, usage assessments and product demos to increase adoption, retention, and satisfaction of our platform that support the ambitious growth plans of Dataminr in the European Public Sector market.
As a Customer Success Associate, you strongly understand service culture, customer-facing products, and account management tools. This role supports the customer base and may require travel to customer sites. You're excited about bringing your experience and skills into a team that is transforming how Public Sector clients adopt and use Dataminr.
Responsibilities:
- Be an expert on Dataminr’s First Alert platform and develop a deep understanding of publicly available information and social media analytics use cases
- Understand each customer’s mission sets and operational process to design and implement the programs that seamlessly integrate Dataminr into their workflow
- Build and maintain strong and effective client relationships, and act as a thought partner
- Develop an understanding of customer use cases, internal decision-making nuances, and other key information necessary to manage and grow accounts
- Conduct quarterly customer reviews to ensure service and product quality remain exemplary, identify growth opportunities, partner with cross-company teams to drive product adoption, find new use cases, and deliver customer satisfaction by bringing value to our customers daily
- Serve as an advocate for our customers by collecting customer feedback, clearly articulating product recommendations for Dataminr product development, and presenting customer account health
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in a related field
- 0-2 years of client-facing or product experience with a strong interest in supporting customers in the Public Sector vertical
- Experience of working closely with or in, European Public Sector
- Knowledge and/or experience of publicly available information and social media analysis efforts of public sector organisations, including but not limited to military, law enforcement or emergency management
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to a wide range of audiences, including technical and non-technical customers
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills and a strong focus on delivering the best possible client experience
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software and CRM tools
- SaaS or other technology-related experience is a plus
- High level of accountability and the ability to execute multiple and competing projects and deadlines
- Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve in real-time
- Must be willing and able to travel (domestically and internationally) as needed, approx. 25-50% of the time
- Must possess the appropriate security clearance or have the ability to obtain clearance to operate within public organisations
- Additional German language skills are a plus
