About the team
Dialpad’s Data Analysts bring together business expertise and advanced analytics skills to enable business teams to identify improvement opportunities that translate into new opportunities and results. In this role, you’ll combine research, data science, data storytelling and experimental design (i.e A/B Testing) to create insights that contribute to the business team’s resolution making process.
Your Role
As a Sales Data Analyst, you’ll own the advanced analytics roadmap to support the Sales and Operations team. You’ll work closely with Sales Managers to perform exploratory data analysis to understand the drivers of the team’s key performance indicators. You’ll also help create predictive models in diverse scenarios (e.g cross sell models, adoption models, churn models, etc.). In addition, you’ll help bring awareness to the projects that should be prioritized in each team.
What you’ll do
- Own the advanced analytics roadmap to support the business team
- Make proactive suggestions on flow improvements based on the findings from running exploratory data analysis and experiments
- Partner with the business team to monitor the impacts on existing KPIs. You are also expected to suggest the creation of new KPIs as needed
Skills you’ll bring
- Fluent in English. All of our stakeholders are in the US and Dialpad's official language is English so an advanced level is required (both verbal and written).
- Fluent with data and visualization technologies
- +3 years of experience as Data Analyst
- Experience with descriptive and inferential statistics (ie You are able to tell stories from data and perform statistical tests)
- Fluent in SQL (i.e able to join data from multiple sources to create a dataset that can then be assessed)
- Experience using Python for at least 2 years in a data analysis/data science context
