As Data Education Lead, you'll have the chance to develop and lead a comprehensive training program for the fastest growing open-source data community, and create a library of training materials that will be used by thousands of companies around the world and data engineers from beginner to experienced.

- Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for Airbyte users, including but not limited to onboarding, best practices, advanced features, self hosting and troubleshooting
- Create and maintain a library of training materials, such as videos, webinars, tutorials, and documentation
- Evaluate, select, and administer a learning management system that helps Airbyte users track their progress and encourage successful completion (with certification)
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure that training materials align with the latest product developments and updates
- Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations to expand the reach and impact of Airbyte University
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve engagement and retention
- Example Deliverables:
- A comprehensive training program for Airbyte users
- A library of training materials, including videos, webinars, tutorials, and documentation
- A team of trainers and instructional designers
- Established partnerships with external organizations
- Regularly updated and improved training programs based on feedback and data analysis
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, data science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in technical education and instructional design
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data science
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with learning management software and video content creation tools
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with data integration or data warehousing is a plus.
