Founded in 2014, Tachyus is a leader in operational optimization for the oil and gas industry. Aqueon, our waterflood modeling and optimization platform, powered by our proprietary engine Data Physics, has increased production and reduced costs and GHG emissions for operators worldwide. We also recently extended Aqueon for CO2 EOR optimization and is already being used by major operators in the US. In early 2022, Tachyus entered the ESG space with Aurion, a fully integrated software platform that helps GHG intensive industries like oil and gas estimate, forecast, optimize and report GHG emissions and intensity. Since then, we have rapidly established ourselves as a leader in this space with over 20 clients in the US, Middle East and Latin America

About the Role
We are looking for a Data Technician / Data Integration Engineer for collecting and processing data from clients. The right candidate will have to collect, organize, and process big datasets from a wide variety of sources and customers. Previous experience working in companies related to the oil and gas industry is required, and knowledge of ESG data and protocols is a plus. The right hire will be someone detail-oriented and will have to efficiently communicate with clients and co-workers from IT, Customer Success and R&D teams.



    • Programming languages: SQL (Advanced) required,  knowledge of Python or other high level languages is a plus.
    • Experience using data visualization softwares (Power BI, Superset). 3-5 years of experience working with oil and gas data sets.
    • Knowledge of ESG data, reports, protocols is a plus.
    • Knowledge of statistics and statistical packages / softwares (matplotlib/ numpy libraries) is a plus.
    • Experience working with large enterprise customers.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
    • Excellent analytical and research skills.
    • Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
    • Empathetic, positive attitude, proactive, and with a desire and ability to solve problems.
    • Flexible, able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change.
    • Results and Data-driven mentality.
    • You'll be reporting directly to the Customer Success Manager.
