Where You Fit In
We are seeking a highly motivated data scientist/ bioinformatician with solid programming skills. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of molecular biology, human genetics, and basic statistics, and will take on tasks spanning bespoke analysis of experimental data, data visualization, genomics data processing, and experimental design.

    • Analyze high-throughput experiments to assess data quality and identify hits.
    • Support preclinical development programs with computational analyses.
    • Build tools to automate recurring data analysis.
    • Collaborate with machine learning scientists and engineers to build tools to streamline design of antisense oligonucleotide compounds
    • BSc in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field.
    • Two years of relevant postgraduate experience or a graduate degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or a related field.
    • Understanding of basic concepts in molecular biology and human genetics at the undergraduate level or higher.
    • Solid statistics knowledge with ability to perform various statistical analyses independently.
    • Solid knowledge of the Unix shell, Python, and Pandas.
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving work environment.
    • Experience with R and cloud computing.
    • Experience with human genomics data (including next generation sequencing).
