Essential Duties:
Candidate will team with the department manager to lead and manage semiconductor equipment engineering and maintenance employees in semiconductor equipment repairs and installations.
Semiconductor equipment repairs and installations in the areas of photolithography, dry etchers, PECVD, MOCVD, MBE, evaporators, sputter systems, and dielectric deposition systems. Vacuum technology, electrical and electronics, compressed gases and chemical handling. Vacuum pumps including oil pumps, dry pumps, turbos, cryos and cryo compressors.
Job functions include but are not limited to:
· Daily reports on equipment status
· Prioritize and assign work orders to employees
· Support planning and execution of preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment modifications and new installations
· Support inventory management
· Document processes and maintenance procedures
· Ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause failures with corrective actions; assign and track actions to team members to implement the results
· Work with team to update Pareto charts and report on department metrics
· Support and implement department strategy
· Focus on continual improvement utilizing metrics and data
· Prepare and lead meetings
· Document and give performance reviews for employees
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate will have experience managing equipment maintenance employees as well as direct experience in semiconductor equipment installation and maintenance. Must be a strong leader with exceptional organizational and communication skills. Candidates should possess a proven track record of developing novel and successful solutions to complex technical issues. The candidate must be able to identify areas in need of improvement and problem solve technical and interpersonal issues. Computer skills using the Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Experience with Project, Visio, Autocad are a plus.
Desired Skills:
Maintenance and repair of semiconductor equipment. Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve complex processing and support equipment. Leadership skills that involve leading a group of equipment engineers and coordination with the research staff/management.
Required Education:
10+ years relevant technical experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing, 5+ years managing equipment maintenance staff, B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or Business Management desired
Physical Requirements:
This position will require both office work, such as computer work and meetings, and access to all areas of the campus. Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces and have both visual and hearing acuity. Must be able to work within ISO 4 Cleanrooms. Must be able to work safely with and around potentially toxic and hazardous materials, chemicals and gases. Able to work flexible hours.
Special Requirements:
U.S. citizen required. TS clearance desired.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $101,000 - $168,000 + bonus + benefits.
