We’re looking for someone to join a team committed to accelerating the development of intelligent systems software, and custom research software tools and services.  Successful candidates will create high-quality DevOps solutions that satisfy research needs. This will involve full engagement in the software development cycle, including understanding the technical challenges associated with intelligent systems, defining test cases, working with a team to co-design solutions, and supporting DevOps tools during usage.  Above all, the position requires good scientific communication skills, a strong work ethic, enjoyment of problem solving, and an ability to span different fields of study.

Essential Duties:
Enable algorithm and software development teams to rapidly and efficiently respond to customer mission needs.
Investigate and stay current on state of the art DevOps tools, and integrate these tools and processes into existing and new projects. Interface with both Information Technology (IT) teams and scientists developing AI/ML software.
Mentor and train other software engineers throughout the organization and seek to continually improve processes.
Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.

Required Skills:
5+ years experience in agile software development tools and techniques, GitLab CI/CD, GitLab runners, Docker, Python, C++.

Required Education:
Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.

Special Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship.
Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $159,000 - $264,000 + bonus + benefits.
