Director of Human Resources
To accelerate our growth, Hayden AI Technologies is seeking a Director of HR with exceptional judgment, interpersonal skills, and a desire to develop and grow a talented team, from attracting the best talent to cultivating a great company culture.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with demonstrated experience working with high bandwidth individuals and an ability to inspire confidence in others in a geographically diverse environment.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- The Director of HR is a critical position that will provide guidance and leadership, play a key role in driving the next phase of growth at Hayden AI Technologies, and develop an environment where our team can thrive.
- Develop and promote HR initiatives and programs that align with company goals and values.
- This role will oversee the HR operations and recruitment teams to help establish and execute best practices for hiring and onboarding processes.
- Oversee development and administration of competitive benefit and compensation programs.
- Help drive and create a culture of high employee engagement and accountability at a crucial time of company growth.
- Cultivate a learning, listening team environment where members can develop and experience meaningful growth.
- Evaluate and advise of new programs and strategies that impact the attraction, motivation, development and retention of resources.
Summary of Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent years of experience in Human Resources.
- 5+ years Human Resource leadership role partnering directly with senior management to develop, align and implement HR strategies.
- Experience in a start-up environment with the desire to be hands-on, as well as strategic.
- Experience implementing strategies and systems for talent acquisition, talent management, compensation and benefits, and HR technology.
- Ability to identify, influence, and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve desired organizational outcomes.
- Must be able to be onsite in our Oakland HQ a minimum of 2 days per week.
- Experience of leading a small HR team within an expanding organization.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future (US Citizenship is required for this role).
