About The Role :

Skydio is seeking a Director to lead the design, development, and deployment of our enterprise cloud-connected Skydio Dock program used with our Skydio autonomous drones.  Skydio Dock & Cloud solutions provide and AI-powered system that makes it easy for customers to perform monitoring, inspection, and patrol with on-demand visibility - all without the need for a person on site.  As the Director, you will take full ownership of all aspects of technical implementation, usage, and system maintenance setup for the Skydio Dock and Cloud solution.  You will be responsible for operationalizing the professional services required to fully utilize this new technology and will act as an important link between our customers and our technical teams.

How you’ll make an impact:
  • Build a scalable process for installation of cloud-connected devices on secure networks with the help of both direct resources and 3rd party channels
  • Collaborate with our engineering team and customers to operationalize deployment and sustainment requirements and processes
  • Proactively engage with customers and sales to identify areas for improvement and ensure expansion of our solutions
  • Research, launch, and refine professional services that address customer needs
  • Track and manage all implementation projects with our large enterprise customers for successful delivery of technology and services.
What makes you a good fit:
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting cloud connected device solutions
  • Experience with WiFi networking
  • Deep knowledge of cloud connected devices and troubleshooting network connectivity issues
  • Success in implementing market-leading, secure, scalable SaaS products and services to enterprise customers
  • Proven track record of implementing new technology, agile development and interfacing with technical teams to deliver on customer schedules
  • Work directly with vendors and customers through proactive, metrics based engagement
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a strong focus on project management tools and concepts
  • Ability to travel ~40-50% of the time

Compensation Range:

The annual base salary range for this position is $161,500 - 231,125*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
