As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will help define and design elegant, high-performance computing, sensing, communications, and power system avionics for Shield AI autonomous quadrotor and fixed wing platforms.

Salary Range:  Base + Bonus + Benefits + Equity (if applicable)
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. Information on the benefits offered is here. All offers are contingent on a cleared background check.

Location guidelines-
Onsite = 5 days/week
Hybrid = Several days in the office
Remote = Remote but able to come to the office as requested for business needs

    • Own and contribute to circuit board designs in Shield AI’s products. This includes quadrotors, fixed wing aircraft, and supporting equipment that require complex system architectures utilizing custom circuitry (power management, analog, digital, motors, microcontrollers, sensors, radios, etc.)
    • Support third party payload integrations onto Shield AI’s products
    • Coordinate with cross-functional resources (mechanical, embedded, software, production, supply chain, etc.)
    • Contribute to and attend cross functional design reviews.
    • Provide feedback on status of your project schedule and deliverables.
    • Contribute to schematic capture, simulation, prototyping, analysis, verification, and debugging for your board level circuit designs.
    • Work closely with CAD engineering for PCB layout.
    • Help develop automated test solutions.

    • You have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
    • You have experience with: circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, and circuit testing.
    • You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
