Contribute technical expertise and work within a fast-paced team of scientists and engineers on the development of next generation RF/mmWave Subsystems. Candidate will be expected to work within diverse teams taking responsibility for the design, implementation and test of electrical subsystems.
Essential Duties:
All under the supervision of a Senior Design Engineer.
Design creation from Concept through Prototype.
Part Selection, Symbol Creation, and Schematic entry.
Footprint Creation and Circuit Board Layout.
Participation in development projects core teams.
Participation in design reviews as a presenter and/or reviewer.
Writing and defining interface specifications and requirements.
Planning, conducting, and documenting tests in written reports.
Required Skills:
Three (3) plus years of hands-on experience in Electronics Hardware design.
Experience in Schematic Capture and Circuit Board Layout.
Experience in Circuit Simulation.
Working knowledge of Analog and Digital Circuit Design.
Hands on experience testing hardware performance with Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Logic Analyzers and other similar equipment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to express complicated technological ideas.
Strong analytical reasoning and problem solving capabilities.
Self-driven individual who is capable and excited to learn about new technologies.
Experience with Altium Design Suite
Experience in Motor Control or High Power Switching Electronics
Experience with RF circuits
Experience with Embedded programming
Required Education :
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Proficiency in use of computers, engineering work stations, complex electronic equipment, oral and written communication, interaction with vendors/colleagues and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Ability and willingness to travel 20% of time. Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces and have both visual and hearing acuity.
Special Requirements:
U.S. Citizen is required. Ability to obtain a security clearance.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $104,000 - $174,000 + bonus + benefits.
