The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be among the  first local team members in APAC. Our new APAC Field Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in working hands on with sales to build pipeline and drive overall our success in the region. This is your chance to make an impact, in close collaboration with our internal teams as well as our partners.

The person we’re looking for is a marketer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience with field, events and/or partner marketing in APAC. As this is a remote role, we are looking for someone who is a self-starter and ready to roll up their sleeves and dig in. This role reports to the Sr Marketing Manager for EMEA & APAC and will initially support both EMEA and APAC field marketing, with the expectation to fully focus on APAC starting in early 2024.

    • Collaborate with Sr. Marketing Manager EMEA & APAC to develop campaigns at a local level that drive regional demand. These programs will include:
    • Regional webinar execution
    • Shared regional campaigns with local partner marketing
    • Execute regional events programs (planning and onsite management) to drive new opportunities and improve opportunity close rate. This can include:
    • VergeSense proprietary events
    • VIP experiences and dinners
    • Local activation at conferences with partners to co-sponsor and join their booths
    • Build relationships with your in-region counterparts at our key partners and spot opportunities for co-marketing.
    • Be an advocate for the sales region you support and help the rest of the marketing department understand their priorities
    • Be an advocate for the marketing department and help the sales team you support understand the marketing department's priorities
    • Collaborate with digital marketing to support regional targeted marketing campaigns
    • Ensure all regional events and marketing campaigns are delivered on time and within budget, measure and report on their effectiveness.
    • 2+ years of field and/or event marketing experience focused on the APAC region (specifically Australia & Singapore). Experience in B2B Saas and enterprise sales preferred.
    • Experience executing marketing programs independently
    • Hands-on experience working closely with sales and partner teams
    • Excellent communication skills - this role will require effective collaboration and coordination across internal and external stakeholders
    • Proven track record of exceeding objectives
    • Comfortable working with unknowns - as we’re growing and building
    • Corporate Real Estate and / or Workplace experience is a plus
    • The APAC region must consistently meet all pipeline targets
    • Full calendar of channel marketing activities with VergeSense partners
    • Strong field event follow up resulting in meetings booked & opportunities
