Essential Duties:
The Infrared Test & Integration team located in Camarillo California is a highly talented team of scientists and engineers with diverse backgrounds in circuit design, advanced packaging and integration, novel signal processing and algorithm development, and integration & characterization of highly complex digital and mixed signal systems for Infrared Imagining applications.  Patriciate as part of a project team in this environment performing in-depth development, simulation, verification, and debugging of FPGA code with Verilog or System Verilog.  Implement algorithms, and signal chain processing functions for image processing applications.  Develop firmware code for microcontrollers and processors with C or C++.   Work directly and hands-on with custom FPGA boards and electronics.  Technical duties require candidate to present details of work to colleagues during design reviews, create and manage work plans to meet or exceed schedule deadlines, and provide written and oral summaries of work performed as required.

Required Skills:
At least 6 years of experience with Xilinx or Altera devices, FPGA architectures, and development tools such as Vivado, SDK, Quartus, and HDL simulators. Familiar with embedded microcontrollers such as Microblaze/ARM, and embedded development using C or C++.  Proficient with FPGA processing logic HDL development using Verilog.  Good understanding of SerDes operation and high speed signal integrity for speeds up 10Gbps. Proficient with interfaces such as SPI, UART, I2C, DDR, and GTX/GTY transceivers. Experience with the use of Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and related lab equipment. Familiar with Matlab or Python.

Physical Requirements:
Proficiency in use of computers, engineering work stations, complex electronic equipment, oral and written communication, interaction with vendors/colleagues.  Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related scientific discipline

Special Requirements:
U.S. citizenship is Required.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $104,000 - $174,000 + bonus + benefits.
