Shield AI is seeking a passionate and talented Global HR Business Partner to join our People Experience team. This role is a unique opportunity to work in a combination Global Project Manager and HR Business Partner capacity. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic consultation and world-class thought partnership to our global leadership team in order to support the growth of our international business expansion.

Salary Range:  Base + Bonus + Benefits + Equity (if applicable)
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. Information on the benefits offered is here. All offers are contingent on a cleared background check.

Location guidelines-
Onsite = 5 days/week
Hybrid = Several days in the office
Remote = Remote but able to come to the office as requested for business needs

    • Partner with the Executive Vice President of International Business & Strategy and the Chief Growth Officer to execute a strategic timeline through which we can employ our growing team within specific global locations
    • Partner with our Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and build an easy to duplicate framework for employment that includes relocation, visa attainment, and localization for our new hires
    • Collaborate with internal partners including Total Rewards, Facilities, IT, Finance and Legal to ensure all appropriate logistical steps are being executed
    • Partner with legal to build out all International team policies and ensure employee and site compliance with the local country policies
    • Support international hiring in partnership with the Head of Talent Acquisition and TA team
    • Provide succession planning and coaching to the business in order to build engaged, high performing teams
    • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to review and align on compensation changes, merit reviews and promotional recommendations for client group employees
    • Handle all global, and some domestic teams', employee relations matters
    • Ensure effectiveness of key HR processes in collaboration with other functional Human Resources leaders
    • Drive continuous improvement in HR programs, proactively making recommendations for improvements in a manner consistent with the company’s mission, vision, and values
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
    • 5+ years a global HR role and implementing initiatives across global teams.
    • Have worked across time zones and cultures and be able to deliver through collaboration in a complex, networked/matrix global organization.
    • Experience developing partnerships and influencing senior business leaders and navigating significant organizational change during periods of rapid growth and realignment.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing priorities and changing demand while delivering value-added and timely consultative services to employees and management using developed facilitation and conflict resolution skills
    • Team player with a high sense of urgency
    • Self-directed, detail-oriented individual with a strong passion to contribute to the team's success
    • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, diplomacy, and discretion
    • Any of the following certifications-
    • Professional in Human Resources – International (PHRi) Certification
    • Senior Professional in Human Resources- International (SPHRi) Certification
    • Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR)
    • OR SHRM Certification
