KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Be responsible for the material supply for the business in China, and support the supply management activities in US headquarters.
Define supply strategy including volume planning etc., support global Demand Planning and S&OP etc. processes.
Define sourcings strategy, source new suppliers, drive cross-functional qualifications, and negotiate contracts.
Help define the procurement related processes from Purchase Requests to PO receipts and payments, manage the execution with good work record keeping, ensure the timely availability of materials in a cost effective manner.
Manage supplier performance in cost, delivery, quality and support, perform analysis and take lead in driving supplier improvements.
Support define the vendor management processes and material management processes, lead continuous improvement efforts.
Daily interface with Engineering, Production, and vendors with a focus on helping to ensure execution to project plan/schedule.
Monitor and track effectiveness using reports, dashboards, and scorecards etc.
Other tasks as related to procurement and supply chain management.
Travel 25%+.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or another relevant field, or the equivalent combination of experiences.
5-10 years of global supply management experiences managing both Chinese local and global supply base, Industrial Automation experiences is a plus.
Significant sourcing experiences, full cycle product development project experiences required.
Good command of English as a working and negotiation language.
Skilled user of PLM/ERP/MS Office/Google docs/etc., PLM and ERP system launch experiences is a plus.
Strong skills in cross-functional leadership & project management.
Sense of responsibility, proactive in finding discrepancies, come up solutions, and make it work.
An ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
An ability to self-motivate, adapt to change, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical and negotiation skills.
