Cohere is seeking an exceptional Head of Marketing Operations to drive performance for the company at large by optimizing marketing systems and enhancing insights with data. In this pivotal role, you will be key in ensuring that our marketing operations and efforts are efficient, scalable, and measurable.

As a key leader in our organization, you will serve as an essential bridge between our Revenue Operations team, Sales team, Product team and the broader Marketing organization. You'll ensure seamless communication and alignment of strategies, leveraging your expertise to enhance our operations from overseeing our suite of marketing tools, systematizing our data-driven insights, automating workflows and reporting on results for senior stakeholders.     • Lead Marketing Operations & Strategy : Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and go-to-market strategies in collaboration with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Align the marketing organization’s KPIs with Cohere’s sales organization.
    • Data Strategy & Optimization : Audit and refine data management strategies, ensuring data integrity and accessibility across marketing channels. Implement and optimize attribution models to measure marketing impact.
    • Executive-Level Reporting : Provide key insights and recommendations on marketing performance to the broader Executive Team. Lead presentations and strategic discussions on marketing pipeline and future growth opportunities.
    • End-to-End Process Management & Pipeline Development : Own the tracking of marketing initiatives, spend, PLG funnel, and operational metrics, delivering regular insights to optimize performance and strategic direction. Develop and implement pipeline growth plans with marketing, sales, and product teams to drive acquisition, retention, and engagement.
    • Marketing Technology & Automation : Lead and optimize the marketing technology stack (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Looker etc.) while driving the introduction of new tools to enhance productivity. Implement marketing automation workflows and lead scoring to improve lead management and nurture processes.
    • Marketing Analytics : Analyze campaign data to identify trends, provide actionable insights, and enhance overall marketing effectiveness. Build dashboards for senior stakeholders, ensuring that KPIs and key metrics align with business objectives.
    • Strategic Planning & Budget Management : Manage the marketing operations budget, aligning resources with strategic goals to maximize ROI.
    • Operational Efficiency & A/B Testing : Optimize lead management and nurturing processes across marketing channels. Lead A/B testing efforts to ensure best practices and continuous improvements.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance teams to align operational strategies with business goals, ensuring seamless communication and effective execution.
    • 12+ years of experience in marketing operations, with significant expertise in technology-focused or B2B/SaaS environments.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing marketing and GTM strategies at scale, working in high-growth companies.
    • Strong experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) and data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker).
    • Expertise in designing and implementing go-to-market (GTM) strategies, pipeline development, and multi-touch attribution systems in a B2B/SaaS environment.
    • A proven track record of managing large-scale marketing operations budgets, optimizing technology stacks, and improving process efficiency.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
    • A data-driven mindset with exceptional analytical skills, translating insights into strategic actions that drive business performance.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Data Science (an advanced degree is a plus), or equivelant.
