About the role

We are seeking an HR Assistant Manager/Manager (Learning & Development) in Appier. The main focus of this role is to support the head of Learning and Development to design and deliver learning programs, work with leaders and employees across the organization to identify critical learning needs, and utilize the learning management system to streamline and delivering learning with the goal of enhancing the skills, abilities and behaviors of our employees.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Based in Taipei office and support Head of Learning and Development to deliver training and implement the learning roadmap globally.
  • Diagnose and define learning & development strategies that support business objectives. Consult and advise business leadership on proper learning and post-learning strategies to further enhance skills and abilities of employees who have attended training sessions.
  • Collaborate and partner with our HRBP and Talent Acquisition and Organization Development Team to identify talent development needs and work together to craft solutions in a consultative manner from diagnosis, facilitation & delivery, through measuring outcomes and then further adjusting programs over time based on findings to enable business growth
  • Provide input in learning program design and/ or source training partners to enable business and organization growth objectives
  • Facilitate delivery of classroom and virtual training programs and initiatives
  • Lead and work closely with internal partners to build out and manage our Learning Management System with focus on e-learning content development and supporting development of functional onboarding programs
  • Develop criteria for evaluating effectiveness of development initiatives. Measure program outcomes and adjust, build, and reinforce over time based on findings.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage external partners and vendors as needed
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned

About you

  • BS degree in human resources, psychology, education, business administration or finance
  • 2+ years’ experience in manager role in Learning & Development, Performance Management, Training, Organizational Development, or a related area of Human Resources.
  • Experience in designing and delivering training solutions and programs that are known for being engaging and scalable with measurable results
  • Ability to advise business leaders and HRBP with consultative approach to solve business and organization problems with creative learning solutions
  • Agility to navigate dynamic work environments where you can be scrappy and quick when needed, yet mindful of the bigger picture and need to move beyond one-off solutions
  • Experience with building solid and trusting relationships across multiple client groups and/or geographies to clearly link talent solutions with business goals.

  • Having experience managing direct reports a plus
