Essential Duties:
This position reports to the Security Manager and is located in Malibu, CA. May be required to also be located in Thousand Oaks, CA or Calabasas, CA. HRL seeks an industrial security professional who offers experience across multiple security disciplines. Duties will include (but are not limited to) identification of security requirements; development of security-related program SOPs; implementation of protective measures designed to safeguard classified and proprietary information; routinely interact with internal and external customers in support of program-related activities; act as primary security POC for supported programs and draft/submit required documentation; and develop, schedule and deliver security briefings.

Required Skills:
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision. Ability to plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to create fillable forms and proficiency in VISIO is desired.
Minimum of four years working in a related role. Prior experience in military, law enforcement, or security is required. Experience with the use and management of physical security (IDS, access control, cameras) systems desired. Experience using NISS, DISS, and SIMS databases desired.

Required Education:
High School diploma with 8+ years related experience. Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years related experience. Master’s degree with 4+ years related experience.
Completion of DCSA CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities.
Working knowledge of the NISPOM, ICDs and applicable DoD Directives required.
DCSA CDSE SFPC/SPSC or NCMS ISP certification(s) desired.
Completion of SCIF/SAPF course within 2 years is desired.

Special Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen. Must have a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $70,200 - $117,000 + bonus + benefits.
