General Description:
This position reports to the Security Manager and will be performing a variety of duties in the implementation and maintenance of a complete industrial security program. This position offers great opportunity for growth and development.
Essential Duties:
Candidate will assist in the implementation of HRL’s security program to include but not limited to: assist with the creation of Standard Operating Procedures, produce badges, process and file security information, escort, support classified shipping, and conduct security briefings.
Candidates will be trained and mentored to be proficient at performing all related duties.
Required Skills:
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
Ability to plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
Minimum of two years working in an industrial security role.
Prior experience in military, law enforcement, or industrial security is required.
Administrative experience is beneficial.
Experience with the use and management of physical security (IDS, access control, cameras) systems. Experience with NISS, DISS, and SIMS databases.
Completion of DSS CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities. Required to have a working knowledge of the NISPOM and ICDs.
Required Education:
Associates degree with 2 years of experience or 3 years of related work experience.
Special Requirements:
Must be a US Citizen
Must have a current active Top Secret clearance with SCI
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $59,000 - $98,000 + bonus + benefits.
