About our Information Security Team:
We’re focused on building security processes that allow the bank to move at pace, while protecting our customers. We’re never afraid to do things differently and aim to form a partnership with product and engineering teams that allows us to support the creation of products our customers love.
Your day to day
In this role you'll be expected to:
- Work on information security projects as part of our security programme. Previously, we’ve delivered work in areas such as third party security, governance and vulnerability management
- Work with stakeholders across the bank to identify and mitigate security risks in new processes and products
- Perform third party security due diligence assessments and ongoing audits
- Support the drafting of security policies and procedures, working with other squads across Security and the bank
- Provide ad-hoc advice and support to a variety of stakeholders across the bank - acting as part of the team that is the ‘front door’ to security
You should apply if:
- What we’re doing in Security excites you and you want to make a real difference to the way in which we deliver Information Security at Monzo
- You have experience working on projects across a variety of security domains
- You are working towards a recognised security qualification such as CISSP
- You’re a great communicator, written and verbal, and can cleary translate complicated messages to give clarity for wider audiences
- You are comfortable working autonomously, and are confident in engaging stakeholders in order to achieve results
- You thrive in an energetic, fast paced environment
- You have experience working on multiple projects simultaneously, and are comfortable with regular context-switching;
- You enjoy working with data and using it to drive and measure improvements
- You’re comfortable reading and interpreting technical requirements, regulations and procedures
The Interview Process:
After an initial conversation with one of the Hiring Team, our interview process involves 3 main stages:
- Initial interview with one of the team
- Technical interview
- Behavioural interview
