Essential Duties:
•Integration and test of complex microelectronic devices, components, and assemblies.
•Support process development and enhancement projects to improve performance, quality, yield, and manufacturability.
•Perform, analyze, and report measurement results of analog/mixed-signal integrated circuits, components, and assemblies to the technical staff and project management.
•Assemble of reports to document process status, changes, and lessons learned.
Desired Skills:
•Hands-on experience using a wide variety of measurement equipment such as High-Speed Oscilloscopes, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Time-Domain Reflectometer, etc.
•Experience troubleshooting process/hardware failure modes and performing root cause analysis in a research and development environment.
•Cleanroom/laboratory experience plus familiarity with metrology methods and equipment.
•Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp and manipulate microscopic parts and components.
•Knowledge of general semiconductor device micro-fabrication principles and failure analysis techniques.
•Understanding of mechanics of materials, semiconductor physics, and thermal/mechanical theory related to electronics processing and assembly techniques, is a plus.
•Programming experience (MATLAB, Python, other modern scientific programming language).
•Use of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and proficiency in writing for reporting.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in physics, applied physics, electrical engineering, materials science, or related field. Two years of related experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Proficiency in use of computers, engineering work stations, complex electronic equipment, oral and written communication, interaction with vendors/colleagues and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work well in a team and independently. Must be sufficiently mobile to work within confined spaces and have both visual and hearing acuity.
Special Requirements:
U.S. citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Active SSBI is a plus.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $101,000 + bonus + benefits.
