Must have basic understanding of RF and microwave integrated circuits concepts, such as scattering parameters, input/output impedance matching, noise and power. Familiarity with CAD layout for both PCB and IC (e.g., Cadence, ADS, or MWO) are desirable. Knowledge of large signal measurements and load pull is a plus. Experience with high-frequency circuit/EM simulators such as Cadence, ADS, MWO, HFSS, Sonnet, and CST desired. Experience with standard microwave test equipment, such as spectrum analyzer and vector network analyzer desired.
Physical Requirements:
Proficiency in use of computers, engineering work stations, complex electronic equipment, oral and written communication, interaction with vendors/colleagues.
