Responsibilities:
As the Inventory Control Analyst, you will be working for HRL's Microfabrication Technology Laboratory (MTL), which provides engineering services that include the following: fabrication of microelectronic and semiconductor devices; electronic packaging, manufacturing engineering and analysis; and technology development and process engineering. The coordinator is expected to provide support in the area of technical supplies and materials inventory. In addition, there will be a logistics component of the role supporting queues and transporting WIP between processing locations such as the main 1st floor fab, 4th floor fab, and post processing areas.
•Monitor stockroom inventory, place orders for restocking
•Request quotations and place purchase orders for new item requests
•Deliver wafers as required to the cleanroom
•Coordinate deliveries with purchasing and receiving for chemicals, wafers and cleanroom supplies so that they are delivered to the appropriate location
•Maintain laundry and garments for gowning room, and materials supplies inventory supporting MTL
•Conduct physical inventory, cycle counting, disposition/removal of material no longer needed, and support inventory audits
•Support offsite deliveries by preparing the material, paper work, and following appropriate shipping and handling policies (for example, for implant services)
•Maintain cleanroom 1D65 materials
•Place monthly bulk orders for commonly used cleanroom items
•Particle counting and water monitoring
Qualifications:
•High School with 2+ years of inventory and purchasing related experience or Associate's degree with 1 years of related experience.
•Minimum 2 years of inventory and purchasing experience using computer aided inventory system and performing receiving and issuance transaction types including the utilization of Bills of Material and Work in Process.
•Excellent customer service skills and able to work and communicate effectively with technical staff, engineers, managers and scientists as well as business and logistics personnel.
•Solid understanding of general job aspects of inventory receiving, stocking, and distribution process.
•Experience with resolving intermediate/day-to-day common customer service issues regarding on-hand inventory, lead-time, and the procurement of materials.
•Knowledge and experience with MS Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
•Working knowledge of purchasing and receiving process.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $59,000 - $98,000 + bonus + benefits.
