Dataminr’s Editors have a big impact on how we deliver information to our clients whilst ensuring our AI platform is advanced and evolving. As a Localisation Editor working natively in French, you’ll be are an integral part of our machine learning algorithm training process,  annotating, labelling and editing signals from our data feeds. This is a UK or Ireland based position with the option of working remotely from the office.

Please note that this role may require rotational weekend work as well as projects and meetings outside of business hours.

The opportunity

  • Localise our real-time data signals and provide language expertise in French to improve our AI models
  • Ability to make real-time decisions with incomplete data

  • Identify any software issues to elevate to our product and engineering teams

  • Native level competency in French (parts of our interview will be conducted in French)
  • Previous demonstrable experience working in Localisation
  • Good understanding of geopolitical risk issues that affect all continents and industries
  • Ability to monitor and analyse data in a rapidly evolving environment in both English and French
  • Passion for breaking news, current world events, technology, and a great understanding of both social media and publicly available data
