Manager of Business Development

Untether in North America

Untether AI is looking for an experienced Manager of Business Development to lead our outreach to major accounts in North America. You will be responsible for driving proof of concepts (PoC), initial samples, and revenue. You will have deep relationships in one of the following areas:
Banking, Financial and Insurance Services (BFIS)
Federal Systems – including military, government, and intelligence agencies
Autonomous vehicles and/or vision guided robotics
Smart retail and smart city vendors

    • You are a strong business development executive, with extensive experience in solution and consultative selling to target organizations
    • You are a results-driven, customer-centric thinker
    • You have a track record of conveying compelling use cases and value propositions
    • You have experience in start-ups and established semiconductor companies providing solutions for the target markets
    • You will be responsible for all aspects of Untether AI’s engagement with target customers worldwide
    • Source and deliver early customer conversations to position Untether AI products for success
    • Manage prioritization of customer engagements
    • Define and drive proof of concepts with major multinational companies
    • Secure long-term partnerships and revenue at target accounts
    • 7 years of sales and business development experience in roles of increasing complexity, and 3 years’ experience in selling AI solutions to target markets is mandatory.
    • Outstanding relationships with key influencers and decision makers at cloud and datacenter accounts
    • Understanding of major AI development frameworks including TensorFlow, Pytorch
    • Understanding of AI use cases for cloud and on-premise datacenters
    • Outstanding interpersonal, consultative selling, and solution selling skills
    • Capable of motivating and energizing customers
    • Able to be a customer advocate and be the voice of the customer within the company
