General Description:
We are currently seeking student interns to support the development of advanced test systems.
Essential Duties:
Mechanical engineering interns may support a variety of engineering tasks including, but not limited to:
•CAD modeling
•Part/assembly drawings
•Thermal analysis
•Experimentation
•Tool/fixture design
Required Skills:
•Proficiency with a CAD tool, preferably SolidWorks
•Coursework or experience in one or more of the following:
oFinite element analysis
oThermodynamics / Heat transfer
oMaterials science
oExperimental methods
•Proficiency with MS Office suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Required Education:
•Minimum 2 years completed of a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering undergraduate program
Special Requirements:
•U.S. citizenship
•Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance
•Expected graduation by end of 2024
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $22 - $35 per hour.
