About the Role
We are looking for someone to join our growing expanding Field Service and Warehouse Operations team! The Operations Associate plays a critical role in meeting customer expectations around repairs, delivery timelines and forward stocking strategies. You will assist with warehouse operations helping with returns, shipping, and inventory. The role will coordinate with our freight forwarders and 3pls to effectively position our inventory across the country to meet our customers needs. Additionally responsible for assisting in the day to day execution of maintaining service and repair activity at our warehouse facilities, both locally and throughout the nation.
This position will have a set schedule working out of our San Leandro warehouse, M - F, 9am - 5pm.
Responsibilities:
- Repair:
- Performing service calls on Tempo products at, local, customers homes and warehouses; including troubleshooting calls with 3rd party field service providers
- Work closely with our customer support team to resolve issues remotely
- Troubleshoot and working through root cause for all failures
- Ability to refurbish for resale on Tempo products at warehouses
- Testing and refurbishment of spare parts and components
- Work closely with hardware engineers providing feedback
- Warehouse Operations:
- Assist with processing of returns, shipping of spare parts and recording inventory levels
- Documenting all repairs and refurbishments
- Assist with load-out of orders into vans
- Assist our delivery team with deliveries to customers’ homes
- Maintain a safe and clean environment at all time
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as an electronics technician or manufacturing
- High-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical
- Lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-75lbs, materials handled vary
- Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is necessary; including shipping and receiving
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the year
- Excellent customer service skills
- Success in team environments, demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability with other team members
- Good problem solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot problems and think on your feet
- Must be able to pass a background check

Anticipated hourly range: $60-70K. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for a SF - based individual. Compensation will ultimately depend on job-related factors including skills and experience.
