The Partner Solution Engineer articulates technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. You will be the primary technical resource for partners and the channel sales teams, driving technical integrations and enablement for StreamSets partners. Your enthusiasm, technical and business depth, and excellent presentation skills will help our partners to understand the benefits of StreamSets to drive business growth and customer success.

    • Guide prospective partners to understand the value of StreamSets solutions, explaining technical features and problem-solving key technical and business issues.
    • Develop demonstrations, assets, and enablement materials for onboarding new partners.
    • Assist in developing and implementing the partner channel strategy to drive new revenue streams.
    • Keep partners up-to-date with product and technical knowledge and competitive differentiators.
    • Engage with and work hands-on with partner technical representatives in opportunities and projects, complementing their skill and guaranteeing high quality customer deliverables.
    • Advise on integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete solution
    • Able to articulate technology and product value proposition to both business and technical users
    • Able to identify and drive joint technical go to market opportunities with systems integrators
    • Able to get into the weeds and build credibility in front of architects, consultants, and directors/partners
    • Able to provide focused enablement and technical assistance to partner sales engineers
    • Organized and analytical, able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
    • 3+ years proven track record in software, working with systems integrators and channel partners
    • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports
    • Strong Linux experience as well as programming with Java, Perl, Python, and Unix Shell scripts
    • Data industry experience, with a focus on ETL, analytics applications, and big data
    • Experience with big data and cloud technologies ( AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop, Spark)
    • Experience with Webmethods

    • The target range for this job is $130,000 to $190,000 (base). The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and competencies.
