As Jasper continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic, driven, and innovative individual to be our next People Business Partner . In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational HR support to our business units by helping to identify and implement People initiatives that drive towards our business goals and objectives. You will advise, consult, and support people managers on all matters to do with the engagement and productivity of their teams. You will also provide day to day support for all employees, by being the first HR point of contact for your business units.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: Talent management, employee and manager coaching, HR program and process implementation, learning and development, employee engagement, and employee relations.

We see AI as a partner to creatives that can get them through writer’s block, over hurdles and out of the content hamster wheel. Ai should empower content creators to do their best work and get time and mental space back for new ideas. Our target market is composed of creatives (writers, designers, content marketers) and content-forward companies.
This role can be remote or based at one of our US offices . We have offices in Austin, TX and Salt Lake City, UT with employees based across the US and Australia. We've built a strong foundation to support remote employees engagement with other teams. We have a mix of experience levels and backgrounds, and we’re building an environment that celebrates knowledge sharing, mentoring and career growth.
What you will do at Jasper:
- Provide strategic partnership, advice, and guidance to our people leaders on varying employee topics and issues
- Proactively assess employee, team, organizational development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
- Leverage best practices and identify opportunities for efficiency that will allow for greater scalability
- Help drive employee engagement and the overall employee experience
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention
- Implement new people related programs throughout the year in collaboration with other members of the People Team
- Act as a mentor, confidant and advocate for employees in need
- Be a key player in all things related to performance management including performance reviews, calibrations, compensation and promotion cycles
- Contribute to our career development plans by partnering with leaders to develop competency frameworks for various roles and departments
- Help lead & guide departments through change management
What you will bring to Jasper:
- Minimum of 3+ years in Human Resource roles and 1+ years of HR Business Partner experience
- Demonstrated experience in rapidly scaling technology companies - Software, Artifical Intelligence, Data, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of US labor law, policies, and best practices
- You’re a team player with a sense of ownership and “get things done” attitude - self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced and self-directed environment
- Exceptional communication skills combined with demonstrated problem solving ability are critical for this role.
- In depth of knowledge of people processes across the full employee lifecycle
- Strong ability to build relationships with senior leaders and a complex set of stakeholders to drive organizational change
- Using qualitative and quantitative people data to inform decisions
- Ability to coach managers and employees and monitor sensitive issues
- Strong personal and professional integrity with ability to work with confidential information
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity
- Familiarity with supporting remote-first teams
Compensation Range
At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range at offer for this role is $105,000- $120,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies and certifications.
