Job Description:
As a Power Platform Developer on the Application Operations team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite of tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. You will work closely with colleagues to understand their business requirements and design and implement solutions that meet those requirements. The Application Operations team are ultimately responsible for keeping engineering running, improving individual productivity and solving business process problems through process automation.

Salary Range:  Base + Bonus + Benefits + Equity (if applicable)

Location guidelines-
Onsite = 5 days/week
Hybrid = Several days in the office
Remote = Remote but able to come to the office as requested for business needs

    • Deliver services and solutions for departments using the suite of Microsoft’s PowerApps, Power BI, SharePoint, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, and AI Builder.
    • Develop custom connectors and APIs to integrate with external systems and data sources
    • Build and maintain data models and databases to support Power BI reporting
    • Write and maintain code in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#
    • Ensure that solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
    • Build the low and no-code skills of business users to allow them to build, improve and maintain their solutions.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to come up with solutions to complex issues.
    • Experience with PowerApps integration with Azure API Apps, Azure Logic apps, Azure Functions and REST services
    • Utilize problem-solving skills to understand process pain points and troubleshoot as challenges arise.
    • Propose system design of Power Platform products and connectors, supplemented with Azure services as needed, to meet new project requirements.
    • Recommend strategies to optimize license costs and management within the platform.
    • Drive innovation and collaboration with the newest advancements and features within the Power Platform.
    • Define criteria and conduct proof of concepts, proof of value, and prototyping to evaluate product and feature value and consideration for the organization.
    • 3 -5 years of experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
    • Experience developing custom connectors and APIs to integrate with external systems and data sources
    • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and C#
    • Experience with relational databases and data modeling
    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
    • Understanding of Microsoft licensing models, Power Platform connectors, and related capabilities.
    • Experience migrating business processes to Power Apps and Power Automate.
    • Demonstrated ability to gather and articulate business and technical requirements.
    • Familiarity with M365, the other Microsoft Cloud extensibility models and APIs such as the Microsoft Graph.
    • Hands on experience in scripting languages for automation of administrative tasks (PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with various audiences (including various levels of management).
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
    • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
    • Experience in M365 Commercial and GCC High environments
