The successful candidate for this exciting opportunity will join a team pursuing innovation and development of novel semiconductor integration processes for next generation electronic devices.
Essential Duties:
•Develop integrated process flows, design experiments (DOE) for unit processing steps, design process control monitor (PCM) structures
•Define test and metrology plans and analyze results
•Troubleshoot and resolve process problems and define integration solutions.
•Work closely with program managers, unit process experts, and test colleagues to perform experiments and document experimental findings.
•Travel ~ 20% of the time
Required Skills:
•5+ years’ experience in processing of semiconductor devices and circuits.
•Candidates should possess a proven track record of developing solutions to process development for FEOL or BEOL transistor and IC integration.
•Experience with developing novel unit processes in lithography, RIE/ICP etching, CMP, PVD, PECVD deposition is desired.
•Experience with developing metrology plans with CD-SEM, ellipsometry, and other in-line metrology is desired.
•Experience with analyzing data, reviewing CAD, and other activities to make iterative processing improvements to increase yield.
•Experience with interacting with test engineers.
•Experience with statistical analysis with statistical software including JMP is desired.
•Experience with Cadence Virtuoso for CAD layout software is a plus.
•Experience with device simulation tools (TCAD) including Synopsys, Silvaco and Coventor is plus.
•Experience preparing and delivering concise, insightful, and engaging PowerPoint Presentations to team members and program managers.
•Ability to operate and collaborate effectively in a team environment, and obtain results through others
Required Education:
Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in EE, material science, or related science/engineering field.
Physical Requirements:
Proficiency in verbal and written communication, interaction with customers/colleagues, and willingness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Special Requirements:
U.S. citizenship status required. Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances. Existing security clearance is highly desired.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $104,000 - $174,000 + bonus + benefits.
