Memora Health works with leading healthcare organizations to make complex care journeys simple for patients and clinicians so that care is more accessible, actionable, and always-on. As we expand our programs to reach more health systems and patients, we are looking to bring on a temporary Product Designer. This is a full-time, fixed-term role expected to last 2 months.
As a Product Designer, you will design and ship products and features for our internal users, including implementations and clinical operations teams who manage program content and configure products for our care teams and patients. Ideally, you are a generalist with strong interaction design and visual design chops, with experience planning and conducting evaluative research (e.g. user interviews, concept testing, usability testing). You will collaborate with other UX team members (product designers, content designers, and researchers), as well as cross-functionally with product managers and engineers. Ideal candidates will be driven by the problem we are solving but also by the innovative approach and technology that we are applying to healthcare - looking to make a significant impact on healthcare delivery. We’re looking for someone with exceptional curiosity and enthusiasm for solving hard problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Embed on a cross-functional product team to understand our users, validate ideas, usability test designs, and design and ship products and features for internal users—our implementations and clinical operations teams who manage program content and configure products for our care teams and patients—and help define the future design direction of our internal tools
- Partner cross-functionally with product managers and engineers throughout discovery and delivery—to uncover and articulate problems, sketch ideas, collect feedback, finalize high fidelity designs, and support engineers throughout the development process
- Partner with UX researchers to plan and conduct user research —crafting research plans and concepts for testing, and facilitating interviews with users
- Collaborate with other product designers to define how our design system and components must evolve to accommodate needs and use cases for your product area
Qualifications (Required):
3+ years experience as a Product Designer with strong interaction design and visual design chops , and experience conducting evaluative research and collaborating cross-functionally on an agile team to ship products and feature.
A portfolio showcasing your experience designing complex systems and products (eg enterprise products and/or internal tooling) and end-to-end product design skills , with strong command over interaction design, information architecture, visual design principles, and research chops (think user interviews, concept testing, usability testing)
Experience with the end-to-end product design process including early stage ideation, user testing, and finalizing designs for handoff to engineering. You can collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, you are a great listener , and you know how to use verbal, written, and visual communication to facilitate decision-making and drive projects forward.
Experience leading projects as the UX expert on your team, and using your expertise to bring clarity and structure where there is ambiguity, especially in the early stages of projects
Proficiency designing and prototyping in Figma (or similar design tools)
