We are currently seeking a project manager to lead engineering teams in the development of advanced test systems.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead multi-disciplined technical teams in the design, fabrication, and checkout of cryogenic test systems
Ensure completion of project tasks on time and within budget
Ensure system designs meet all technical requirements
Support line managers in employee development by providing performance feedback, growth opportunities within the program, and mentoring
Essential Duties:
Interface with internal and external customers and other stakeholders
Establish and implement execution plans that address performance, schedule, budget, staffing, and resources
Provide periodic status of cost, schedule, and technical progress
Ensure timely procurement and manufacturing of system components
Identify and manage risks and opportunities
Required Skills:
Five (5) years general experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Minimum two (2) years experience managing development programs of $1M+
Experience managing contracts with US Government customers
Proficiency with Microsoft Project
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or related field
Special Requirements:
U.S. citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance; active TS/SCI is preferred
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000 - $230,000 + bonus + benefits.
