About the role :

As the Quality Engineering (QE) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Engineering processes, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Your expertise in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) methodologies, test scenario design, and team leadership will be critical in driving continuous improvement and excellence in product quality.

    • STLC Management: Manage the entire Software Testing Life Cycle, from test planning and design to execution and reporting. Develop and implement QA strategies and processes to ensure effective testing coverage and defect management.
    • Test Scenario Design: Collaborate with product managers and development teams to design comprehensive test scenarios that cover functional, non-functional, and regression testing requirements. Ensure test cases are aligned with product specifications and user expectations.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of QE engineers, providing guidance on testing best practices, automation techniques, and quality standards. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the QE team.
    • Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance standards and metrics to measure product quality and performance. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and drive corrective actions.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering, and release teams to coordinate testing activities, prioritize test efforts, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases. Communicate effectively across departments to address quality-related issues and drive resolution.
    • Automation and Tooling: Evaluate and implement automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and increase test coverage. Champion the adoption of automation practices to improve efficiency and scalability.
    • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing feedback mechanisms, analyzing test results and metrics, and identifying opportunities to optimize testing methodologies and tools.
    • Seasoned QA Manager with a track record of delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven experience (10+ years) in Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering roles, with a strong understanding of STLC principles and methodologies.
    • Hands-on in working with SAAS applications involving multiple integrations with external / internal entities.
    • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing test scenarios for web and mobile applications.
    • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium, Jmeter) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing QE teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Experience in Accounts Payable and Travel & Expenses domain will be a plus.
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
