General Description:
Primarily responsible for documentation activities involving quality assurance and compliance relevant to applicable ISO and AS industry standards, and customer quality requirements, including:
•Responsible for HRL’s Document Control Quality Management System (QMS) within an AS9100/ISO 9001 environment
•Maintains the records control process requirements
•Reviews/analyzes data and documentation to identify and drive process improvements within the document and records control processes
•Has knowledge of commonly-used Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and procedures
•Provides HRLQA Team support from related processes in all QMS activities (e.g., audits, corrective actions, etc.)
•Ensures timely customer service in all aspects of work

Essential Duties:
•Administers and executes HRL’s Document Control process, including system oversight and all aspects of maintaining company procedures, forms and other documents
•Maintains HRL’s Control of Records documentation including data classification and retention schedules
•Manages HRL access to published industry standards (typically via online subscription services)
•Generates and monitors metrics for areas of responsibility
•Provides training related to areas of responsibility
•Distributes reporting and communications for areas of responsibility
•Identifies and leads improvements based on data and risk for areas of responsibility
•Contributes with HRLQA Team to QMS efforts from a document & records control perspective

•Strong Microsoft Office computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Adobe Acrobat (Adobe  InDesign experience is desired)

Required Education:
•Associate’s degree, or relevant experience (2-5 years) in Quality Assurance

•Work onsite

Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position is $55,000 - $97,000 + bonus + benefits.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
