Our Mission
Our mission is to solve the most important and fundamental challenges in AI and Robotics to enable future generations of intelligent machines that will help us all live better lives.
At The AI Institute, we embrace the kind of blue-sky thinking that’s typically practical only in an academic setting, and make it real through structured teamwork and resources more common to top-tier industry teams. We need people who are comfortable playing in both worlds and excited to build some hardware.
What you will be doing
Work as a key part of cross-functional teams developing the next generation of high performance and intelligent robotic systems. You will bring novel hardware products and processes to life that are, themselves, celebrated research advances. Learn from world-renowned technologists, teach the skills you built, and play with cool robots.
What we are looking for
We are searching for technical leaders with a strong grasp of the fundamentals in mechanical engineering and experience working through the common traps in robotics. Competitive candidates will be adept at navigating the ambiguities of research and rallying teams around the processes and rigor required to make a robot that works more than once. We don’t expect you to meet all of the requirements below, but below are some of the things we’ll be looking for.
We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
