Security Engineer

Hayden AI is a cutting-edge technology company that specializes in developing innovative solutions for its clients in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. We are seeking a skilled Linux/Cloud Security Engineer to join our team and help us ensure the security of our clients' cloud infrastructure and Linux-based systems.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain security measures to protect the organization's computer systems and networks.
  • Monitor and investigate security incidents and vulnerabilities to determine root causes and recommend corrective efforts.
  • Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of cloud infrastructure and Linux-based systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities and apply this knowledge to improve the organization's security posture.
  • Collaborate with other teams to design and implement security controls and provide guidance on security-related issues.
  • Ensure that security measures are integrated into the development and deployment process to prevent security issues from occurring in production.
  • Develop and maintain documentation on security policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.

Summary of Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Linux/Cloud Security
  • Knowledge of security principles, standards, and best practices
  • Experience with cloud security technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Strong understanding of network security and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH)
  • Familiarity with security tools such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security, etc.) are a plus
