About the role:
As a Senior Business Development Representative (Sr. BDR) at Skydio, you will be the Gold Standard for our team in driving qualified outbound meetings as we expand our business across North America. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with cold outbound experience. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team as we invest in new tools and training, and accelerate the growth of Skydio and the commercial UAV industry as a whole.
How you'll make an impact:
- Consistently exceed monthly quota of qualified opportunities
- Prospect strategically using a multi-channel approach to meet executives
- Qualify prospects by conducting high-level discovery calls
- Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
- Attend key industry events and qualify prospects in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with team members and leaders to innovate & improve our process
What makes you a good fit:
- You are in the Top 10% of your Outbound BDR team for performance.
- You are a cold call guru.
- You’ve made 150+ calls per day; experienced the joy of having 10-20 live conversations every day with VP/C-level contacts; and know how to navigate referrals, dial trees, and gatekeepers.
- Bonus: you have past experience working with a Parallel Assisted Dialler (Orum, Connect & Sell, etc.)
- You are able to identify your Top 20% of your accounts (and prospects) and leverage your creativity where it makes the biggest impact while semi-automating the rest.

Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $63,750 - $80,625 + commission* . Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
*For some positions the pay may be dependent upon the individual's regional location.
