About the Position

The Senior Analyst, Product Master Data (Senior CPQ Business Analyst) will act as the business owner for product data in relevant systems including ERP, CRM and CPQ.  This role will be within Finance and accountable for the implementation of the item master setup for new product releases and SOP documentation. They will focus on processes for ordering and releasing new services and maintenance of the product catalog and related components. This person will work closely with the Product Management and Marketing teams to understand new services, release timing, level of effort, and related billing and revenue treatment. The role will also work with Order Management to administer and maintain the CPQ tool with pricing additions and changes.  This role will develop well-documented processes and own continuous improvement driven by performance metrics. In a highly cross functional role, they will provide expertise to the broader organization as it relates to new and existing services.  This position must monitor, analyze, and drive the resolution of issues, and provide subject matter expertise in product master data.

Responsibilities

  • Lead in the implementation and operation of product item master data setup and maintenance in CRM, ERP and CPQ tools.
  • Responsible for the administration and configuration of CPQ in conjunction with current business as well as maintain and adjust CPQ as new functionality is released or as business processes change.
  • Accountable for CPQ guided selling, discounting and deal structure changes as they evolve and or are streamlined.
  • Provide insights during the release of new services as it relates to streamlining operational processes.
  • Manage rollout of new products to Order Management and Billing and Collections, whether full trainings, how-to guides, etc.
  • Create operational efficiencies through automation and process improvements.
  • Work in close collaboration with data owners and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders to drive success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience in operations or related field
  • Highly systematic, process driven thinker and extremely well organized
  • Experience with implementing, maintaining, or utilizing a CPQ tool
  • Been part of a team that has redesigned processes to support the product catalog and and/or has been part of taking the lead in changing business requirements
  • Expert communicator who can translate complex requirements into simple directions for multiple teams, while communicating status to key stakeholders in a concise and precise manner
  • Strategic problem solver and comfortable with making decisions with the best available assumptions
  • Ability to establish credibility based on expertise within the organization.
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com and our billing system, Zuora is ideal
  • Experience with Dealhub is a plus!
  • Able to identify opportunities for operational improvements, develop recommendations, and support internal business teams to drive meaningful
