Job Description:
- Analyze the test results and modify the design as needed so that it will work with new software.
- Develop IEEE 802 for SRA's next generation of wireless technologies, such as Wi-Fi and Ultra-Wideband, as well as digital signal processing and other advanced algorithms to determine new use cases in computer hardware components.
- Define high-level computer hardware systems requirements and criteria to evaluate wireless communication technology alternatives and develop a computer software simulation platform to predict performance in variable operating conditions.
- Utilize MATLAB for developing signal processing, as well as physical layers and/or MAC layer simulations for developing computer software and computer hardware.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 1 year of post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or related role.
- Applicants must have 1 year of experience in the following: (1) Multi-model sensor fusion including RF, IMU, and camera;
- Signal processing algorithm design and implementation;
- Programming languages including Matlab, Python, and Java;
- Mobile or embedded SW/HW prototype and development;
- Machine learning algorithm and tools.
- 10% domestic and international travel required.
Compensation for this role is expected to be between $138,923 and $157,450 but may be higher or lower in other states due to geographic differentials in the labor market. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
