Senior Mechanical Engineer

Osaro in San Francisco

$170,000 - $185,000

We are searching for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support the standardization and integration of industrial controls systems in our Robotics R&D Laboratory.  At OSARO we are creating software and machine learning products that are transforming the static robotics industry by endowing industrial robots with Level 4 autonomy. This level of autonomy is needed to perform an extensive variety of useful tasks and integrate tightly with our customers’ complex software environments.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be participating in all aspects of customer integration and R&D projects at OSARO. You will collaborate with Product, Software, and Machine Learning teams to research, design, integrate, and implement new hardware -- including PLCs, robotic arms, sensors, cameras, pneumatics, industrial actuators, and end effectors -- that further the capabilities of our products.

We value candidates who are passionate about what they build, feel a strong sense of ownership over their work and love learning from continuous challenges.  You are someone who cares deeply about your team so you are both direct and believe in doing what you say.
