We are seeking a commercially savvy, technically proficient, and data-driven online advertising professional or digital marketer to join our team as a Sales Engineer! As our first Sales Engineer, you will be the primary technology expert for our sales team, responsible for understanding client needs, demonstrating the capabilities of our AdTech solutions, and driving successful sales outcomes through technical expertise and customer-centric guidance. This role will report directly to our SVP of Sales.

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in the sales process by providing technical support and expertise. You will work closely with the sales team to understand client needs, demonstrate the capabilities of our AdTech solutions, and ensure successful sales outcomes through effective communication and tailored solutions. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, digital marketing experience, and excellent client engagement skills.

A highly client facing role - The ideal candidate will have strong digital marketing experience; sales quota carrying will be an advantage. You will have a proven track record of orchestrating prospects through complex solutions, as well as having some experience with data, be technically strong and someone who would be happy to work towards targets.
Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education and skills.     • Translate client needs into tailored solutions using our product offerings, ensuring they address specific business challenges and add value.
    • Conduct engaging and compelling product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing how our technology can meet client needs.
    • Provide in-depth knowledge of our AdTech products and services, explaining their technical functionalities, capabilities, and implementation processes.
    • Collaborate with the product development and engineering teams to relay client feedback, contributing to the enhancement of product features and solutions.
    • Offer post-sales technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring smooth integration and effective utilization of our products.
    • Develop technical documentation, sales collateral, and training materials for the sales team, empowering them to effectively position our products in the market.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize business strategies and workflows, developing best practices to accelerate product adoption and growth.
    • Work closely with Go-To-Market, Product Management, and Engineering teams to influence product strategy, design, and prioritization based on client needs.
    • Monitor industry trends and prioritize solutions that can be translated into fully automated product features, ensuring our offerings remain cutting-edge.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
    • 4+ years of experience in a pre-sales role within the AdTech industry.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner
    • Strong understanding of advertising technology, digital marketing, programmatic advertising, and related concepts.
    • Proven ability to build relationships and trust with clients, understanding their needs and providing strategic solutions.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask effectively, and work collaboratively across departments.
    • Experience in selling AI products in AdTech and understanding how AI advancements are transforming the AdTech ecosystem.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, or Technical teams on time-sensitive projects.
    • Salary: $150,000-$190,000 Base Salary and Equity
