Who You Are:

You are ready, and know how to manage and own an end-to-end supply chain process. You are a business owner with responsibilities of developing strategic supply base, logistics, order management and fulfillment practices. You are collaborative and enjoy working with cross functional and international teams (which does mean you need to be eligible and able to travel within the U.S. and internationally up to 10% of the time) such as engineering and product to scope supply chain requirements and launch new products. You have worked in a high growth company and have shipped several thousands of products. You like the challenge of a startup and are excited about taking on increasing responsibility and growing into a leadership role.

What Excites You:

  • Ownership of forecasting, purchasing, inventory management, supply planning, procurement and logistics activities across component and finished goods suppliers
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure the most favorable pricing and availability for all purchased materials, inclusive of strategic contracts
  • Evaluating and improving existing logistics strategies for all shipments outbound, inbound, domestic and international, as well as recommending new strategies for even more efficiency
  • Communicating with manufacturing, quality, and accounting departments to ensure materials and supplies are ordered and delivered on time
  • Managing business systems (ERP) solutions needed to scale
  • Developing and successfully delivering on operational metrics and goals (KPIs)

  • Experience working with an international supply base
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to direction changes or new sets of priorities
  • Keen attention to detail, and strong prioritization and time management skills to effective manage and meet competing and sometimes tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate clearly with cross functional teams and executive leadership
  • Practiced negotiation skills and the ability to influence others and drive consensus within cross-functional teams to make critical decisions in a timely manner
  • At least 5 years of combined experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, demand planning, and/or business operations.
  • A degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or Economics, or commensurate experience
  • Your willingness and ability to spend at least 3 days per week in our Hayward, CA location

  • Base Salary Range: $150,000 - $178,000 annually. Offered salary will be based on the offered candidate’s demonstrated attributes and competencies related to the role.  This range represents the range for candidates located in the state of CA.
