SafeAI is seeking a highly capable Senior Technical Program Manager to manage the development and release of autonomous vehicle software and hardware products for complex construction and mining operations.

Key Responsibilities
·      Lead and coordinate design and implementation efforts, coordinating across multiple teams to develop optimal solutions.
·      Developing software specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, managing the production launch for a product/feature, and using metrics to provide status along the way.
·      Ensure clarity by helping to cascade strategic vision/priorities, including providing context and to helping connect the dots across the organization.
·      Help define effective portfolio management processes, structure, and forums for delivering on large-scale initiatives.
·      Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
·      Clearly and concisely communicate, both verbally and in writing, with senior management on status, risks and required mitigations to maintain project commitments.
·       Work with key stakeholders to define strategy and requirements
·       Use strong coaching and mentoring skills to help others strengthen their capabilities.
·       Promote a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and learning.
·       Build positive, trusting relationships through consistent delivery on commitments and effective communication.
Minimum Qualifications
·       5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a solid track record of partnering with Product and Engineering teams to define strategy and deliver value
·      Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills
·      Good leadership and mentoring skills
·      Strong presentation and communication skills
·       Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodology
·      Expertise in Jira/Confluence

Preferred Qualifications
·      BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field
·      Experience as technical program management lead in end-to-end development
·      Track record of shipping robotics software product
·      Experience with developing safety critical systems
·      PMP, Scrum Master certification

The base salary range for this position is $130K - $180K per year. SafeAI’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
