Overall
The candidate of the Software First PMO is to deliver Toyota's first software-defined mass produced vehicle.

The Cross Company PMO (CPM) is a joint effort between Toyota and Woven by Toyota: we have formed  a team of experts who can accelerate our efforts, and are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to make this project  succeed.

CPM will be working closely with project and product managers, engineering leaders, quality managers and other stakeholders to ensure promotion of project, quality and compliance standards, using project management techniques

We are looking for a team of technical project managers with domain expertise as well as project management experience.

The successful candidate needs to have deep automotive experience in business/product planning and a good understanding of both the vehicle and software development process.
The candidate will be instrumental in promoting and facilitating the alignment between multiple stakeholders to successfully achieve project goals, while being mindful of each team’s culture, mindset, needs and schedules.

    • Deep understanding of automotive business and vehicle product planning and development process
    • Agile/Scrum experience in project execution
    • Good understanding of software development practices
    • Hands on experience working with the following: Jira, Confluence
    • Excellent in creating presentations to report on progress, issues, risks
    • Ownership/leadership mindset and obsession with the mission
    • Bi-lingual in Japanese and English
    • Proven track record in launching products to the market
    • Good understanding of automotive software safety/security/quality
    • Knowledge of automotive and software standards such as ASPICE, etc.
    • Enjoys challenges and excels in a fast-paced environment
