TEAM
Arene’s goal is to open vehicle programming to everyone by simplifying vehicle software development and increasing deployment frequency without compromising safety and security. This will create a whole new market of vehicle application developers who, through software, integrate a vehicle into our daily lives in novel ways. Arene aims to significantly improve how vehicles are designed and developed, and we’re working closely with Toyota to realize this goal in its next-generation vehicles.
The Global Execution Excellence team ensures that quality is built into the product from the very beginning and strives to constantly improve the way we develop.
The Arene Quality Management Team guarantees that the Arene Engineering team delivers the highest quality by defining and ensuring the adoption of a QMS framework of standards and controls for our work processes.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for professionals who are excited about working in an environment which puts safety first in software production.
You will be working closely with development teams to define a working culture and supporting processes which guarantee built-in quality in our software products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement a Software Quality Assurance Plan to ensure conformity of every product and development activities with industry standards and end-user requirements;
The Software Quality Assurance Plan should promote audit of the product / development process through the following elements
・Set up checkpoints along the software development life cycle
・Evaluate the progress and quality of the project activities at each defined project stage against predetermined milestones’ objectives.
・In collaboration with the Quality Management System Team (QMS), assess the adhesion by the development teams to the engineering processes standardized in the Company.
・In collaboration with Functional Safety, Security and Privacy, evaluate conformity of the design and software (product) to set company quality standards.
・Communicate on the performed Software Quality Assurance (SQA) audits
・Document SQA activities and results.
・Communicate the SQA status with the project stakeholders and trigger escalation of identified risks.
・Promote Organization growth by reflection and recurrence prevention of the potential concerns detected through the audit of the product / development process to drive improvements of the existing Engineering practices, and standardization in the QMS.
